A WordPress-like one-click update from Dashboard would make OpenCart much more popular, and keep more stores relatively up-to-date.
Naturally, this should come with compatibility check, fault-detection and rollback.
I think Prestashop has a feature like this.377 votes
This is very complex, however it is something that has been considered for a long time. Moved to under review until we decide on solutions for this.
We should be able to add multiple tracking numbers for each orders, also have colored names for for example "Shipped" is yellow "Processing" green etc192 votes
Tracking / consignment handling can be done many different ways. We will review this option later and consider the options, ideally it would integrate with the shipping gateways API’s if possible.
Default language for Admin panel should be set based on the user, NOT based on the store.119 votes
Should be easy enough to do, moved to under review.
I've like to propose this idea also here.
Opencart is missing something very simple but necessary for any multi language store. Currently, the banner image remains the same not caring on the selected language. Even the picture by default in the store front already has problems when there is more than english language available.
I actually saw many people interested in the feature in the forum, and even in my own extension for solving the problemhas more than 600 downloads.
I already started working on it, but will like to know if will be accepted.46 votes
This is a proposal to set OpenCart's minimum required PHP version to PHP 5.4. As of August 14, 2014 PHP 5.3 has reached end of life and will no longer receive security fixes. Additionally PHP 5.4 allows for powerful new or improved developer features such as array shorthand, array dereferencing, and closures.
